When I was first introduced to Cyndi Mariner, the founder and CEO of Breathing Spaces, it was one of those situations where no introduction was really needed – I felt like I had known Cyndi for years. I think most of us have experienced something similar, at one point or another, with someone you’ve just met, or some place that you’ve just visited for the first time. With Cyndi, there was just an immediate sense of familiarity and connection. I am a Reiki master, and for years I’ve been leaning into my intuition. So, when Cyndi asked me to consider joining the team at Breathing Spaces, it was an immediate, full-body YES. I trust that if you’ve found your way to Breathing Spaces, you, too, may have experienced a full-body YES at one point or another.

Amanda - HeadshotI grew up in Florida, the daughter of a Financial Advisor, so it didn’t surprise anyone that I got my degree in Finance and went into management consulting immediately out of college.  For about 12 years, I worked my way around the corporate world, eventually leaving that consulting role and finding myself as a Fortune 50 IT leader, and later a Pharmaceutical Sales rep. During those years, I “lived” in my left brain, hyper-focused on all things analytical, yet I struggled with an inner longing that I couldn’t quite pinpoint. While still in the corporate world, in 2012 I decided to take a Yoga Teacher Training course, and it completely transformed me: I awoke spiritually and touched into a completely different side of myself.

Fast forward a number of years, and I eventually decided to leave the business world behind and take a major leap of faith. I became a certified Life Coach, and I completed multiple intensive certifications in Applied Positive Psychology. Shortly thereafter, I was intuitively called to travel from Florida to Calgary, Alberta to take a Reiki (energy healing) training program.

As I built out my coaching and Reiki offerings, I continued on my own personal growth journey. I met my husband during this timeframe, and we began a new life together. Meanwhile, I dove deeper into the realms of healing through advanced Reiki training, intuitive development courses, and many other spiritually-themed classes.

Today, I am delighted and honored to have robust service offerings, all geared around personal growth, transformation, and healing. I consider myself a “Mind, Energy-Body, Spirit” practitioner because my unique approach blends the pragmatism of scientifically informed coaching and positive psychology methodologies, combined with the intuition and empathy of an energy worker and healer.

As a life coach, my approach focuses on fostering resilience, promoting personal growth, and enhancing overall well-being. I work with clients to cultivate a positive mindset, set meaningful goals, and develop practical strategies for overcoming obstacles. In addition, I draw on my background as a Reiki Master to bring intuition and empathy to your coaching journey.

If you’re not familiar with Reiki, it is an energetic healing technique that promotes relaxation, balance, and overall well-being – think of it like an energy massage. As a Reiki master, I work with your energy body to remove any negative energies, open any blockages, and enhance and protect all positive energies. Reiki sessions can offer many benefits, including stress and pain relief, joy and renewed hope, deep relaxation, energy renewal strengthened sense of self, and much, much more.

If you’re ready to transcend life’s trials and experience greater joy, peace, and ease, I hope you will explore the webpages that explain more about both my coaching and Reiki offerings. It would be my honor to help you on your journey.

Peace,

Amanda
